Just last week we showed you the teaser for the W Motors next iteration of a “bomb on wheels”, dubbed the Fenyr SuperSport and now the Arabian automaker has made it official during the 2015 Dubai Motor Show.
In case you missed last week’s story, which you can by the way read here, we can tell you that W Motors are the guys that were responsible for the Lykan HyperSport – that red supercar that Fast and Furious Vin Diesel and the regretted Paul Walker used to jump between two skyscrapers. Never mind the CGI, the Lykan Hypersport is a real supercar and has now been followed up the chain of command by its new sibling the Fenyr Supersport, which has been entered in the 400+ km/h (248 mph) machine category. It comes with a custom made full carbon fiber body that has aerodynamic tinkering to deliver performances that rival the host of Veyrons around the world. According to W Motors, their second only installment in the world of auto manufacturing can also jump to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.7 seconds.
Other highlights include a lightweight tubular aluminum chassis and an engine from Ruf – a custom twin-turbo 4.0-liter flat-six – that comes with at least 900 bhp and 1,200 Nm, according to the company, which has been coy on delivering the actual final number. Production will ensure high exclusivity, with a run of just 25 units – though there’s no world on pricing yet. But imagine it will make a hole in your account, since the “older” Lykan fetched $3.4 million, being slower and “underpowered” compared to the Fenyr.
