The Dubai Police department has just received the keys to a whole new exotic ride, a new Chevrolet Camaro SS.
Being a police officer in the United Arab Emirates territory of Dubai seems to be one of the best jobs in the world for petrol heads because the unit has a lot of new and expensive supercars and exotic cars in its parking lot. The newest model to receive the Dubai Police livery on its body is a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS. The local media is saying that the police department has just took delivery of the muscle car, which will be used as a patrol vehicle.
The 2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS in question is getting with the same green bodyside and hood striping as other police cars locally and its bodywork also includes new side sills, a new front splitter and a rear spoiler. The model also has red and blue LED strobe lamps instead of the stock fog lamps, along with an LED light bar on the roof. Power is being provided by a 6.2L V8 engine, which is good for 426 HP. The unit is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint is done in just under 4.7 seconds. Other famous Dubai Police supercars are the Aston Martin One-77, the Bentley Continental GT, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT or the Lamborghini Aventador.
