The Dubai Police Department has recently added a brand new supercar to its fleet, a McLaren MP4-12C.
Being a policeman in Dubai can be one of the best jobs ever, especially if you are a petrol head, because the vehicles found in the police fleet over there are more than hot. The Dubai Police Department already has a Lamborghini Aventador, a Brabus G63 AMG, Chevrolet Camaro SS, a Ferrari FF and many more expensive rides , and the latest addition to the fleet includes a McLaren MP4-12C. The British rear mid-engined, rear-wheel drive supercar has just hit the streets in the same classic white and green shade and it will probably attract more looks than any vehicle used by the Police in the UAE.
The McLaren MP4-12C has been officially introduced back in 2011 and it’s currently being offered in two body styles, coupe and roadster. The model in question is 4,507 mm long, 1,909 mm wide, 1,199 mm tall and it has a total weight of 1,399 kg. Power is being provided by a 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is good for 592 HP (441 kW) and 601 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is mated to a 7-speed automatic dual clutch transmission, which is allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 2.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of 207 mph (333 km/h).
