The Dubai Police department is getting ready to add one more exotic car to its fleet, which will be a Ferrari.
After telling you about the brand new Lamborghini Aventador which will be used by the Dubai Police, the United Arab Emirates territory will get one more exotic supercar for its Police department, which will be a Ferrari. The unspecified model will cost approximately 417,000 euros (544,000 USD).
“These sports cars will not be roaring and chasing speeding motorists. They will be used for roads security in different areas of Dubai”, said the Police Chief Lt. Gen Dahi. Dubai Police are working on updating the police patrol cars to enhance security on the roads in accordance with highest international standards and technical developments”, he added.
It remains unknown what Ferrari supercar will be bought by the Dubai Police department but considering the fact that the 599 GTB was loved in that region, its replacement, the F12 Berlinetta, will probably be the one. As a quick reminder, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is powered by a 6.3 liter V12 engine which is developing a total output of 730 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 509 lb-ft, out of which 80 percent is available from only 2,500 rpm. Ferrari is saying that the F12 Berlinetta can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and the 0 to 200 km/h acceleration takes 8.5 seconds. The model can reach a top speed of 340 km/h.
