The legendary Ford RS200 is… well, legendary – and here’s your chance to own one that surprisingly has only clocked about 2, 000 miles on the odometer since it was bought back in 1985.
There are few Ford vehicles that have achieved an iconic status – and among them the RS200 also resides. It was presented back in 1984 as a Group B rally car and had a very short but successful life as one of the most sought-after cars of the World Rally Championship (WRC). Just 250 road cars were ever created, so getting one in almost new condition is like getting the needle out of the haystack. Fortunately, somebody else did it for us and here’s a pristine Ford RS200 on sale in Alfreton, Derbyshire, England.
The eBay listing says it has just 1,760 miles (2,832 kilometers) on the odometer and the vehicle is completely original down to the tires – and has only had three owners. The white exterior with blue stripes is factory original, the interior looks almost frozen over time, with the leather seats and plastic dash with no visible signs of wear and tear. Even the 1.8-liter Cosworth engine remains in working condition – it had 250 horsepower (186 kilowatts) back in 1985. All these commends a hefty price, so the RS200 can be had for £174,995 ($228,175).
