“Edition” version for the Skoda Fabia, Rapid, Octavia and Yeti, going to Geneva image

Skoda has announced the “Edition” version of the Fabia, Rapid, Octavia and Yeti, which will be officially presented to the public at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, next week.

After pulling the wraps off the new generation of its flagship model, the Superb, Skoda has decided to bring the rest of the lineup together by creating an “Edition” version of the Fabia, Rapid, Octavia and Yeti. All vehicles are coming with the body colored side mirrors, with the front fog lights, with the bi-color alloy wheels, with the SunSet package with tinted rear side windows and rear window and with several other tweaks to help them stand out from their regular brothers.

“In addition, ŠKODA will be presenting the special ‘Edition’ models of the ŠKODA Fabia, Rapid, Octavia and Yeti series for the first time in Geneva. The occasion is the 2015 double-anniversary – at the end of December, the company will be celebrating its 120th birthday, and 110 years ago the first L&K automobiles were leaving the production halls in Mladá Boleslav”, says the carmaker in its official press release.

Besides the exterior modifications, the “Edition” version of the Fabia, Rapid, Octavia and Yeti are also getting the leather wrapped 3-spoke steering wheel, the textile floor mats with grey stitching, the leather wrapped gearstick lever and handbrake lever and that’s about all. Skoda didn’t release any specifications on the engine lineup so chances are these will most likely be offered with the entire range. More details on them will be announced at the Swiss automotive event.
