At the 2011 Milan Motorcycle Show (EICMA) – as we all expected Ducati and Mercedes AMG have presented again the new Diavel AMG Special Edition motorcycle. In addition, the new Mercedes CLS 63 AMG was present.

The first “co-inspired” Ducati-AMG model is based on the Diavel Carbon edition, and incorporates an AMG 5-spoke wheel design, carbon fiber lateral radiator grills with aluminium trim, AMG-style sport exhaust system with engraved end-caps and an AMG-style horizontally ribbed seat upholstery.

It has already been priced in Europe at €26,000 to €27,000. It doesn’t have a U.S. price yet, but will be presented to dealers in the U.S. later this year.

The company is also at work on an AMG model based on one of Mercedes’ upcoming new front-drive A class and B-class models, with a version of the F800 compact saloon the current favorite for the AMG treatment.
