EICMA, (Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori) or the Milan Motorcycle Show, the largest motorcycles show in the world has open its gates for the press, and from 7 to 10 November the motor show will be open for all motorcycle lovers.

Inautonews was present at the show and is unveiling all the major debuts.

BMW unveiled the S1000R and nineT – the S1000R features a 999cc that ranks out 158 bhp @ 11000 rpm and peak torque of 112 nm @ 9250 rpm / while the nineT is here to celebrate 90 years of BMW motorcycles.

Ducati, the made in Italy “moto-maker” that is now under Audi unveiled the Monster 1200 / 1200 S and the Limited Edition Ducati 1199 Superleggera. The Superleggera has 200hp and costs just €66,000. However the Italians sold more than 75 per cent of the 500 units.
Piagio unveiled its Primavera automatic scooter, a model that most probably will replace the LX series, and for the first time Kawasaki is here with a scooter – yes, the J300 model.

“It was of great importance that our first step into the European scooter market should be with a machine that embodied Kawasaki’s cutting edge design, we are happy that we have achieved this with the styling features of the new J300” Mr Fukumoto, head of KHI’s Styling Department said during the event.

On the same time, the Japanese motorcyclemaker presented the new 2014 Z1000 model – a motorcycle that looks like a “predator” and cranks 138 hp at 9,600 rpm (there’s also the 2014 Z1000SX model that generates 142 hp at 10,000 rpm).

Honda is also here, of course, with an entire line-up of new motorcycles – the CBR 300R,CBR650, VFR 800F and CTX.
What’s next- yes – Harley is here – Harley-Davidson , the U.S. based motormaker, with the new Street 750 and Street 500 motorcycles – two models that will be made in the United States and India. Yes India ….

Another Italian “house” is here – the MV Agusta with the beautifully-made 2014 MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 model, and Suzuki presented the V-Storm 1000 and the new Burgman line.

At the end let’s not forget to mention that Mr. Angelino Alfano was present at the inauguration, but the best presence is this Labrador that … as you can see is “Expositore”.
