Electric “City Car” from Audi confirmed.
Peter Schwarzenbauer, who recently leaves from Porsche, (now Member of the Board of Management of AUDI AG with responsibility for Marketing and Sales ) confirmed at Paris Motor Show that, Audi will introduce a electric car in the near future. Globalmotors announce that, Audi’s electric car will share the same platform with VW Up! ( next version Lupo ).
Back in May, reporters from Reuters have announced that Audi is planning to introduce electric cars in 5-10 years.
It seems that Audi is forced to press ahead things, and that’s because BMW’s Mini is already testing electric Cooper.
