Elton John’s Ferrari 512 TR for sale

A 1991 Ferrari 512 TR, which was previously owned by Elton John, is currently up for sale and looking for a new owner who doesn’t like wearing leather pants.

The Ferrari 512 TR in question was made in 1991 and it was previously owned by Elton John. The Italian supercar will be auction by COYS at the Sprint Classics sale in London, on the 12th of March 2013. The organizers of the event have estimated that the classic supercar will fetch somewhere between 90,000 GBP and 110,000 GBP.

“A Ferrari Testarossa formerly owned by Sir Elton John with only 2,100 miles on the clock is to be sold by international auction house COYS at their Spring Classics sale in London”, as COYS says in its official press release.

The 1991 Ferrari 512 TR in question has been driven only for 2,100 miles (3,380 km), out of which 1,812 miles (2,916 km) were driven by Elton John. The supercar is finished in Rosso Corsa and it has a beige interior. Besides this classic Ferrari 512 TR, a 1975 Aston Martin V8, a 197 Jaguar E-Type Commemorative, a 1974 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS and a 1969 Ferrari Dino 206 GT will also be auctioned during the same event.
