Endora Motors has released the first renderings of their upcoming SC-1. It’s based on the Chevrolet Corvette, but instead of showcasing a rather predictable GM design, it features true contemporary retro aesthetics that hark back to the Sixties and Seventies.
Since it’s just a design study for now, the technicalities don’t really matter. But the guys who have thought it up say they want to use a 437 hp – 424 lb-ft 6.2 liter V8 for the base model, a 7.0 liter V8 with 512 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque for the mid-range version and a supercharged 6.2 liter with no less than 647 hp and 604 lb-ft for the top of the range SC-1.
As standard, the Endora SC-1 will come with a 6-speed manual gearbox, but as an option,
the car maker also offers a six-speed automatic with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.
The SC-1 also comes standard with an electronic traction control system, an active handling set-up and blinging 19-inch alloys up front and 20-inch at the rear.
Endora cars will announce pricing and a production schedule at a later date.
