You must be wondering about Ford Pinto and its released date. Well, not to worry, it is a subcompact automobile produced for the 1971-1980 model years by none other than Ford Motor Company.
It’s been long and enthusiasts are simply enjoying the ride of this car by commemorating its 40th birthday. In order to celebrate enthusiastically and let the world know about its presence, enthusiasts have embarked on a 1,600 mile journey which will be commenced from Denver, Colorado to the Ford Nationals in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. There will be total 24 Pintos on street to make the journey memorable and while reaching Pennsylvania, few more Pintos will join the team of enthusiasts. Altogether, the total number of vehicles that are going to trek are marked up to 32.
To make the ride more fascinating, few pit stops will be made by the Ford Pintos. For example, the group has already toured Fort Riley in Kansas on the Memorial Day and then headed forward taking laps around the Kansas Speedway and then the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. In Kansas Speedway, the drivers have already made 95 miles per hour. They enjoyed the warm welcome at the Kansas NASCAR track. Here the group took several spins, making up to 95 mph, whereas, they felt disappointed at the Indianapolis track where they were only allowed a lap at 30 mph.
The cars are supposed to be participated in the downtown parade and will hold a draw of a guitar which is autographed by Ted Nugent. Overall, proceeds are set to be offered to the Wounded Warrior Project.
