Euro NCAP – Mitsubishi L200, Fiat Panda Cross, Mazda CX-3 and Hyundai i20 tested image

After speaking about the 5-star rated vehicles, time has come to tell you about those which received 4 stars or just 3 stars after being crash tested by Euro NCAP.

The Hyundai i20 is one of them as the South Korean supermini has received a 4-star safety rating. The model has scored 85 percent in Adult Occupant, 73 percent in Child Occupant, 79 percent in Pedestrian safety and 64 percent in Safety Assist. The tested car was an i20 1.2 GLS weighing 1,100 kg.

Next comes the new Mazda CX-3 sub-compact crossover which has also scored a 4-star safety rating. The Japanese vehicle has obtained 85 percent in Adult Occupant, 79 percent in Child Occupant, 84 percent in Pedestrian safety and 64 percent in Safety Assist. Euro NCAP has tested a CX-3 2.0 Core weighing 1,231 kg.

The Mitsubishi L200 has also obtained a 4-star safety rating with 81 percent in Adult Occupant, 84 percent in Child Occupant, 76 percent in Pedestrian safety and 64 percent in Safety Assist. The tested vehicle was an L200 GLS 4-door double cab, weighing 1,860 kg.

Last but not least, Euro NCAP has posted the score of the Fiat Panda Cross which has obtained just 3 stars. The Italian vehicle has scored 70 percent in Adult Occupant, 77 percent in Child Occupant, 50 percent in Pedestrian safety and 46 percent in Safety Assist. The tested vehicle was a Panda Cross 1.3 MJ 4×4 5-door, weighing 1,150 kg.
