Cadillac has officially released the first details and images with the European version of the ATS Coupe, which will go on sale on the Old Continent pretty soon.
Just as it was expected, the European version of the Cadillac ATS Coupe is looking pretty much identical to its over-seas sibling and it is coming, according to the company, with a five-link independent rear suspension, a multi-link front suspension, signed by MacPherson, Brembo front brakes, Driver Awareness and Driver Assist packages, 18-inch alloy wheels and several other tweaks.
The cabin of the above mentioned model is getting the configurable 5.7-inch three-sided instrument panel cluster display, an 8-inch touch screen LCD for most of the car’s functions, USB, Aux, SD memory card, Bluetooth, 12-speaker Bose surround sound system with Active Noise Cancelation and some other goodies which should make it more popular than vehicles such as the BMW M4 Coupe.
Power to the Euro-spec Cadillac ATS Coupe is being provided by a four-cylinder turbocharged 2.0 liter gasoline burner, which is the only unit available for the car. This has been rated at 276 HP (203 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque, connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission and sent to the rear wheels. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 5.8 seconds. The ATS Coupe will go on sale in October in Europe and it will be followed by the Escalade and by the ELR.
