Ford has officially introduced the European version of the Edge during the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
Good news for Europeans looking for a new SUV as they will soon be able to add a new model on their list. This is the Ford Edge, in its European version, which has been officially presented to the public, in a premiere, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show. the model in question is very similar to the North American variant and it is coming with the prominent front grille flanked by the sweptback headlights, with plastic body cladding, sporty dual exhaust system, wraparound taillights and so on.
The car manufacturer says that the vehicle will be coming with the Adaptive Steering System, with Active Noise Cancellation system and several other tweaks which should make you take it into consideration as a future vehicle. As far as the engine lineup goes, this will actually include the 2.0 liter Duratorq TDCi diesel burner, which will become available in two outputs. The first one will be producing 180 HP (132 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque while the other one 210 HP (154 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. The Ford Edge will go on sale next year across the Old Continent.
