Commercial vehicle registrations in the European Union (excluding Cyprus and Malta) rose 8.4 percent in November to 171, 670 units. From January to November, the EU market expanded by 10.5%, recording 1,769,994 new vehicles.
According to the European Automobile Manufacturers Association the positive results were mainly supported by France (+9.9%), Germany (+13.9%) and the UK (+19.4%).
According to the same source, pain was the only major market to face a downturn (-14.6%).
During the month, EU sales of new light commercial vehicles increased 8.5 percent, and that of trucks surged 14.5 percent.
