Ford has released the performance specifications for the new Mustang generation in the version aimed towards the Old Continent.
After officially announcing its launch last year in Europe, Ford is now placing the new Mustang generation into the spotlights once again, this time by releasing some performance specifications on it and not only. According to the car manufacturer, the muscle car is coming with features such as the HID automatic headlights, the 19-inch alloy wheels, the rear diffuser, the SYNC with an 8-inch display, dual-zone climate control, a 9-speaker audio system and several other tweaks.
All Euro-spec Ford Mustangs will also get the Performance Pack, which will be getting the upgraded cooling system and the high performance brakes. The muscle car will be coming with four Selectable Driving Modes, including the Normal, the Sport+, the Track and the Snow/Wet settings. The Launch Control is available too but it is offered as an option.
The 2015 Ford Mustang is getting the 2.3 liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine under its hood in the entry-level model. This is capable of producing a total output of 317 HP (233 kW) and 432 Nm (318 lb-ft) of torque, enough for an average fuel consumption of up to 8.0l / 100 km (35.3 mpg UK) and a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in 5.8s. The 5.0 liter V8 unit is good for 421 HP (309 kW) and 530 Nm (390 lb-ft) of torque and it can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.8s with the 6-speed manual. More than 2,200 pre-orders for the car have been received in Europe and deliveries will begin in July.
