Jeep has introduced a special edition of the Wrangler on the Old Continent, which has been named the Rubicon X Package.
According to the automaker, the newly unveiled Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X Package is available exclusively in Europe and it has been based on the Rubicon trim level, standing out from a crowd thanks to its 7-slot black front grille, body colored spare tire cover, dual-intake, deep tint sunscreen glass, black fuel filler door, 17-inch black alloy wheels and more. The model in question is available in two body styles, two-door and four-door Unlimited.
Some of the other tweaks found on the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X Package include the Mopar tread pattern slush floor mats, the Uconnect infotainment system with a 6.5-inch touch screen display and a 40GB hard drive, the leather wrapped steering wheel, silver accents and more. Power is being provided by a 2.8 liter turbo diesel engine, which is rated at 200 HP (149 kW) and 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) of torque. There is also a 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 gasoline burner available, with its 284 HP (212 kW) and 347 Nm (256 lb-ft) of torque. Both units are getting a 5-speed automatic transmission. The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X Package will reach European dealerships in the second quarter of this year. No pricing details have been announced yet.
