Jeep has recently announced its plans to introduce the European version of the 2014 Compass next week, unhealthy during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, salve in a premiere on the Old Continent.
The new European version of the 2014 Jeep Compass is looking very similar to the American variant and the model will go on sale on the Old Continent in the second quarter of this year, where its future customers will have to choose from three trim levels, the Sport, the Limited and the new North. Standard goodies found on the 2014 Jeep Compass in Europe will include the air conditioning, keyless entry, power and heated side mirrors and more.
The model will also receive hill-start assist, ABS, cruise control, electronic roll mitigation, ParkView rear camera, side airbags and more. A new six-speed PowerTech automatic transmission will be added to the model. Jeep didn’t announce any details on the engine lineup available for the Euro-spec Compass but rumors are saying that this will include the 2.0 L with 158 HP (118 kW) and 191 Nm (141 lb-ft) of torque, a 2.4 L with 172 HP (128 kW) and 223 Nm (165 lb-ft) of torque and a 2.2 liter CRD diesel with two outputs, 136 HP (101 kW) and 163 HP (121 kW).
