After being unveiled over-seas a few weeks ago, the new generation of the Chevrolet Camaro is now making its debut on the Old Continent. The unit will be connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission which will allow it to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6 seconds. The average fuel consumption will be 8L / 100km (35.3 mpg UK / 29.4 mpg US). The 6.2 liter V8 unit will also be available, with its 455 HP (339 kW) and 617 Nm (455 lb-ft) of torque. This will be connected to a 6-speed manual or to an optional 8-speed transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. The new Camaro generation will be launched in Europe soon but no pricing details have been announced so far.
