The Evanta Barchetta has been brought recently to the Top Marques Monaco 2015, for a local debut.
Do you remember the Evanta Barchetta? Well, if you are a petrol head, chances are you do, as this has been introduced last year, during the Goodwood Revival event. The model in question is a new sports car which has a retro inspired styling which will appeal to purists thanks to its simple design, to the large front grille, to the impressive wheels, the small windscreen and the overall design of the cabin.
The Evanta Barchetta has been inspired by the design language of the 1950s – 1960s and it has been recently brought to the Top Marques Monaco 2015 by R&G Racing GrandPrix, the exclusive distributor for the Evanta Motor company. Each car is designed and built in Britain using traditional hand crafted coach building methods and the whole production run will only count 99 vehicles and not 148 units as it was originally announced.
Two versions of the brand new “classic” sports car are being offered, one of them bringing an aluminum body and the other one a Kevlar body and power is being provided, in both of them, by the same 6.2 liter V8 engine, which is connected to a manual or an automatic transmission. The total output produced by the unit stands at 450 HP (336 kW). Prices for the Kevlar finished Barchetta are set at 125,000 GBP while the aluminum one will be setting you back for 165,000 GBP.
