The new generation of the ML has been officially presented at the 2011 Bologna Motor Show by the German based automaker Mercedes-Benz.
With an all-new design which is making it even more appealing, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML is coming with some interesting new technology and updates for the interior, like the new leather upholstery, steering wheel with wood inserts, new trims, the Harman/Kardon Logic7 audio system, the Mercedes-Benz Command communication/infotainment system with internet access and many others. The automaker didn’t leave any stone unturned when it updated the M-Class, making it longer, wider and lower than its predecessor, besides being more powerful and fuel-efficient.
As you can see from the images below, Mercedes-Benz has chosen the ML 250 Bluetec 4Matic for the 36th edition of the Bologna Motor Show, which is coming equipped with the four-cylinder turbocharged 2.1 liter engine, developing a total output of 204 horsepower and having a peak torque of 369 lb-ft. Besides the 250, the new generation of the ML is also being offered with the 350 Bluetec (3.0 liter V6 diesel making 258 HP and 457 lb-ft of torque), the 350 4Matic BlueEfficiency (3.5 liter V6 petrol unit developing 306 HP and 273 lb-ft of torque), along with the 4.6 liter V8 and the 5.5 liter V8.
The German based automaker says that all the engines will be mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission 7G-Tronic Plus with all-wheel drive.
