The German based automaker Audi has recently revealed the new A1 Sportback S-Line at the 36th edition of the Bologna Motor Show.
The Audi A1 Sportback with S-Line isn’t what you can call new and after the model has been officially presented at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show and at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, the automaker has decided to launch it in Italy too, at the latest automotive event, the Bologna Motor Show. The Audi A1 Sportback has slightly different dimensions compared to the three-door A1, being 6mm wider and taller.
According to the manufacturer, the Audi A1 Sportback S-Line presented at the 2011 Bologna Motor Show takes its power from the 1.4 TFSI engine which is coming in two levels, 121 and 183 horsepower, mated to the seven-speed S tronic transmission. Audi says that for the A1 Sportback S-Line, besiedes the 1.4 liter TFSI unit, another petrol engine is also available, the 1.2 liter TFSI with 85 horsepower. Diesel lovers can order the larger 2.0 liter TDI which is generating a total output of 141 horsepower.
The new Audi A1 Sportback will come with a choice of 12 colors and sales of the newest model of the German automaker will begin in early 2012. The A1 Sportback will have a starting price of 16.950 EUR for the 1.2 TFSI engine.
