The new flagship sedan currently developed by Cadillac will be introduced in 2015.
Cadillac has officially confirmed the development of a new flagship sedan, the so-called LTS, which will be rivaling models such as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the Audi A8, the BMW 7-Series and so on. According to a company representative, the model in question will be introduced next year.
“Cadillac is developing a new top-of-the-range car, yes. It will launch in 2015 calendar year. At this point that’s all the information we’re discussing, generally”, said the Cadillac representative when contacted by inautonews.com.
The Cadillac LTS will be inspired by the Ciel and by the Elmiraj concepts in terms of design and it will be riding on a new platform, as recent reports are indicating. The model in question will probably be unveiled during the 2015 New York Auto Show, in April, but an appearance at the next year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is not out of the question either. The new flagship sedan will probably be introduced on the European market too, but this hasn’t been announced yet. More details on the model are limited for the moment and will probably be announced close to its introduction.
