Exclusive: Honda confirms NSX debut for Geneva, announces the rest of the lineup image

Honda has officially confirmed the European debut of the NSX supercar which will be made at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and it has also confirmed the rest of the lineup present at the event.

After being shown more than a month ago, at the 2015 NAIAS in Detroit, the brand new NSX is getting ready to make its European debut too, as the model in question will be officially presented to the public at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. This has been recently confirmed with inautonews.com by a company representative, who has also announced the rest of the lineup.

“Yes, the NSX will be making its European debut at the Geneva Motor Show. We will also be unveiling the production model of the Civic Type R, all-new Jazz and HR-V, as well as the fist showing in Europe of FCV Concept fuel cell ehicle. Honda can be found at stand 4250 in Hall 4 at the 85th Geneva Motor Show (3 – 15 March)”, said the Honda official.

The brand new Honda NSX has received an evolutionary design which is still making it instantly recognizable. The model in question is taking its power from a twin turbo V6 engine, which is producing more than 550 HP. This is backed up by two electric motors, two mounted at the front for torque vectoring and one mounted at the rear. Power is sent to both axles through a 9-speed dual clutch transmission and this is forming the Sport Hybrid Super Handling All-Wheel Drive System. From 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) it needs less than 4 seconds. Rumor has it that it will go up against models such as the Ferrari 488 GTB, the Audi R8 V10 and the Porsche 911 Turbo.
