Lamborghini will officially release the first details on the Gallardo successor on the 20th of December, as an official within the company has recently explained.
The replacement for the Lamborghini Gallardo, which is currently known as the Cabrera, will be officially presented to the public sometimes next year, but ahead of its unveil, the company will release the first details on it, on December 20. The announcement has been made by a Lamborghini official, who was contacted by the inautonews.com team. According to our source, the press release, for the new Lamborghini Gallardo replacement, will be released on the 20th of December.
The brand new supercar which is currently being developed by the “raging bull” will come with a rear mid-engine and a rear-wheel / all-wheel drive layout. Its design will be inspired by its larger brother, the Aventador, and it will ride on a completely new platform, which will be shared with the upcoming Audi R8 generation. As far as the engine goes, the replacement of the Gallardo is said to come with a 5.2 liter V10 unit, which should produce approximately 600 HP. Additional details on the supercar are currently limited and will be announced once the press release will be out.
