Nissan will be keeping the production version of the Lannia for the Asian market at this time as the company has no plans of offering it on the Old Continent.
A Nissan representative has officially confirmed with inautonews.com that the production version of the Nissan Lannia will not be making its way on the European market. According to our source, the model will not see the dealerships of the Old Continent and this basically means that it will be limited to the Chinese market, at the moment, and to other countries in the region.
“You wanted to know if the Lannia would be introduced to Europe. The answer is no: There are no plans to bring this car to Europe”, said the Nissan official.
If you have no clue on what a Nissan Lannia is we will tell you that it is the production version derived from the Friend-ME Concept and from the Lannia Concept. The model in question will be making its world debut at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show, in just a week, and it has been teased already. We are not sure at this time just how similar the production Lannia will be with the concept car but the one-off vehicle came with a stylish design, with LED angular taillights, a floating roof, the familiar boomerang shaped headlights and several other tweaks. Details on the model will be announced during the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show, on the 20th of April.
