A Lamborghini LM002 from 1989, also known as the Rambo Lambo, in pristine condition, will be available for public auctioning the following month.
The specific model, which was assessed as being in great condition, was only built in 301 units and quite a small number of them can now still be found in the United States. This particular one was produced in March 1988 and has only had two previous owners. Even if it is more than 25 years old, it was only driven for 18,764 miles and it is still riding on its original Pirelli Scorpion tires which are specifically built for the Rambo Lambo.
Its hood hides a massive 5167cc V12 engine with 6 Weber carburetors and a 444 horse power output connected to both axles through a 5-speed manual gearbox. The car has independent front and rear suspension and features hydraulic ventilated disc brakes for all its wheels. The 1989 model has remained in its good and original condition with only the wood trim having been replaced to date.
The 1989 Lamborghini LM002 will be put on sale by RM Auctions at an event taking place on January 16th. The rare car is expected to be auctioned at a price between $175,000 and $225,000. Any bids?
