Extremely rare Maserati Bellagio Fastback for sale in Netherlands image

The Maserati Quattroporte Bellagio Fastback Touring – was built by Carrozzeria Touring—the people who invented superleggera in the 30s.

Superleggera first previewed the Bellagio Fastback Touring at the 2008 Concorso d’Elegance Villa d’Este.

25 Quattroporte wagons are in the world ( however some say that only 3! ). Beside the back part, everything of the Bellagio Fastback Touring is pure Maserati which means a 295kW/400hp 4.2-litre V8 engine and despite an additional 50kg in tare weight and 1,500 litres of load space the 0-100km/h time is still dispatched in a rapid 5.2 seconds.

It is the most exclusive and the fastest way to travel with company and with all the space for your hobbies. With a top speed of 275 Kmh, 0-100 Kmh in 5.2 seconds it is a true custom built GT.

Anyway, looks like one of these beauties with only 1546 km is for sale somewhere in Netherland. It’s priced at 165,000 euro (around $230,000).

When it first launched, I was looking at the Bentley-based Flying Star which Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera produce but after discussions with the CEO, Piero Mancardi, found that they will only manufacture these in three door format. I explained that being disabled I much prefer a five door as when driving it means I don’t have the inconvenience of having to get out to permit rear-seat passengers to alight. I was then shown the Bellagio. It ticks all the boxes for me and I have had a penchant for Maseratis since first driving one round the Neapolitan Riviera in 1986. The Maserati build quality and reliability may not be up to the standards of Bentley Motors but in comparison the Flying Star is pig-ugly. So the Maser running gear of the Bellagio may leave me stranded in a lay-by every now and then but what a splendid place to be whilst waiting for the recovery services; I may even give them the wrong location. Bellissimo!
