Facelifted A-Class gets priced locally image

Mercedes-Benz has officially announced the pricing list for the facelifted A-Class on its local market.

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz A-Class is being highlighted once again, after being officially unveiled a couple of weeks ago, this time with the carmaker announcing its pricing list in Germany. According to the car manufacturer, the facelifted model is now 184.45 EUR to 892.50 EUR more expensive than its predecessor. The model is bringing several styling revisions, along with a new instrument cluster and an updated infotainment system, amongst others.

The engine lineup of the 5-door hatchback includes the 102 HP & 180 Nm 1.6 liter unit in the A160, along with the 1.5 liter diesel sourced from Renault, on the A180d BlueEFFICIENCY, producing 110 HP & 260 Nm of torque. The A220d is making use of a 2.1 liter unit, with 177 HP, while the A250 Sport and A250 Sport 4MATIC have 218 HP. Mercedes-Benz has also updated the range-topping version of the model, the A45 AMG, which is now starting from 51,051 EUR. For the money, customers will get the 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 381 HP (280 kW) and 475 Nm (351 lb-ft) of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration made in just 4.2 seconds, 0.4 seconds faster than before. The average fuel consumption in it stands at 6.9L / 100 km.
