Fresh from the unveiling of the facelifted Audi A8, German tuner MTM has introduced their new tuning program for the luxury sedan.
Looking seriously elegant thanks to a restrained upgrade program, the star attraction is of course the S8 version, which has been equipped a stainless steel exhaust system (€4,500), a high-performance braking system (€6,700) and 21-inch MTM bimoto alloy wheels (€5,800). The tuner also installed an F-Cantronic air suspension (€1,750) which reduces the ride height by 25mm front / 20mm rear.
Of course, the best part of the pack has been reserved for the engine, where, instead of the series production 520 hp, the eight cylinder engine now boasts more than 650 hp at 5,950 rpm and 800 Nm of torque from 1,700 rpm to 5,500 rpm – an increase of 130 HP (110 kW) and 150 Nm (110 lb-ft) of torque thanks to the €4,925 Powerkit.
The mtm S8 Biturbo now has enough oomph to accelerate the luxurious saloon from a standing start to 100 km/h in a mere four seconds, on its way to the new electronically limited top speed of 293 km/h (182 mph).
