One of the first renderings with the upcoming version of the BMW 3-Series has just hit the web.
BMW is currently working on a facelifted version of the 3-Series. The model in question has been spotted several times but if you are expecting some significant changes, forget about it, because this will be basically a mid-life refreshed variant. In terms of design, we expect some mild updates on the front fascia and on the rear end. The cabin is believed to get some minor modifications too, but don’t act too surprised if this will remain the same as the one in the current vehicle.
The 2016 BMW 3-Series pictured above has received LED headlights from the 4-Series and a new bumper. The facelift will keep the model competitive in a segment in which the Audi A4 and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class are also found, alongside other vehicles. The B-family engines, used on the current MINI, are believed to make their way onto the updated model. The rest of the unit lineup might be slightly refreshed in order to be more powerful and to burn less fuel. More details on the model are limited at this time and will be announced close to its unveil.
