The North American based automaker Chevrolet has recently announced the official unveil of the facelifted Malibu today, the 31st of May, 2013.
After it went on sale in early 2012, the current generation of the Chevrolet Malibu is now getting ready to receive a few fresh touches, as the facelifted version will make its public debut just hours from now. The Chevrolet Malibu facelift is expected to help the brand into attracting more customers after the model has seen a drop in sales by 11.0 percent this year, from 90,456 units sold to just 70,913, unlike the Honda Accord, which is the best selling midsize sedan in the segment.
The facelifted version of the Chevrolet Malibu is expected to get the usual redesigned front fascia, with probably a new front bumper and modified headlights, a new design for the rear end and some other tweaks in the cabin. Additional details on the 2014 Chevrolet Malibu are limited for the moment and will be announced once the model will be unveiled. As a quick reminder, the Chevrolet Malibu, in its current generation, is available for order in most markets worldwide, including the United States, Europe and some parts of Asia.
