Citroen has recently unveiled the facelifted version of the C3, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, next week.
As you can see from the images posted below, the Citroen C3 facelift is coming with a bolder front fascia than the outgoing model and the supermini is also getting the double chevron grille fitted to the newest models within the company’s lineup. The “brand new” Citroen C3 is also coming with a lower air intake, with a new body colored splitter, with LED daytime running lights, with a mild update on its taillights, with new reflectors fitted into the bumper and with a brand new paint, named the Ink Blue.
The 2014 Citroen C3 is also coming with a new three-cylinder petrol PureTech engine range, available in the 1.0 liter and in the 1.2 liter versions, where the first one is replacing the old four-cylinder 1.1 VTi, generating 67 BHP and returning 65.7mpg, while the other one is generating 81 BHP and it’s returning 62.8 mpg. The updated Citroen C3 will go on sale on the Old Continent right after the Swiss automotive event.
