The French based automaker Citroen is currently working on an updated version of the C4 hatchback which will be officially introduced soon.
After officially introducing the second generation of the C4 back in 2010, Citroen is getting ready to offer an updated version of the, which will act as a mid-life facelift. The vehicle will be added in order to keep it fresh in the highly competitive European segment, where we can also find models such as the Volkswagen Golf, the Opel Astra, the Renault Megane, the Ford Focus and so on.
The images posted below have been provided by the guys from WCF and they are revealing how the facelifted version of the popular French C-segment hatchback will look like. At the front, we can notice the thicker strip of the LED DRL on the headlights, while in the rear, the taillights have received different graphics and they are looking less stylish than the ones found on the current model.
The cabin of the 2016 Citroen C4 has been slightly updated too and here we can notice the 7-inch touch screen display for the infotainment system. As far as the engine lineup goes, a new 1.6 liter BlueHDI unit will become available, with its 100 HP (75 kW). This will burn just 3.3L of fuel every 100km, or the similar of 85.6 mpg UK / 71.2 mpg US. More details on the updated C4 will be announced soon.
