Dacia is planning to introduce a facelifted version of the Duster this autumn, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, when the model is expected to make its public debut.
The Dacia Duster has been around for quite a few year and the low-cost SUV is also being offered in right-hand drive across the United Kingdom but it seems that enough is enough and the Romanian based automaker is planning to develop an updated version of the model, which is expected to be officially presented to the public later on this year, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September.
The announcement hasn’t been made officially by Dacia just yet but according to La Tribune, the Dacia Duster will receive a new front fascia with a dynamic styling which will make the model look more like the brand new Logan and Sandero generations. Some changes will be applied to the rear end too, where the taillights are expected to be modified, along with the bumper. The cabin of the model should get a redesigned dashboard, an upgraded upholstery and an infotainment system with GPS navigation, which will probably be the MediaNav. The same engine lineup will be carried over but thanks to some modifications, the CO2 emissions will be lowered. More details on the facelifted Dacia Duster are limited for the moment.
