Under the DS brand, Citroen has launched the facelifted version of the DS 5 in the United Kingdom.
Available for order starting with the 1st of July, the facelifted version of the DS 5 will be setting its future owners back for at least 26,980 GBP, in the United Kingdom. The model in question is the first one to be sold under the new DS brand on the Old Continent and it has a significant price increase compared to its predecessor, which was available at 23,260 GBP.
The vehicle is available in two trim levels, the Elegance and the Prestige, and standard items found across the range include the LED daytime running lights, the panoramic sunroof, 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, DAB digital radio, cruise control, satellite navigation system, leather interior details and more. The Prestige is adding the leather upholstery, the rearview camera, the electrically adjustable driver’s seat and the interior mood lighting. At the time of its launch, the carmaker will also be offering the 1955 edition, which is paying homage to the original unveil, back in 1955, at the Paris Motor Show. The engine lineup of the 2015 DS 5 includes the THP 165 with 165 HP (121 kW) & 240 Nm (177 lb-ft) of torque, the 120 HP (88 kW) & 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) BlueHDi 120 and the BlueHDi 180, with 180 HP (133 kW) & 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. The hybrid diesel AWD has been carried over.
