The first images with the facelifted version of the Fiat 500 are showing several units on a transport truck.
The Italian based automaker Fiat has announced, a few weeks back, that the 500 will be receiving some significant updates for the 2016 model year and now we get to see some examples of the popular city cruiser for the first time, on a transport track. The vehicles in question seem to have been inspired by the 500X crossover and they are coming with the fresh trio of lights, incorporating the LED technology.
The front bumper and the grille have been also redesigned and we can also notice some chrome trim. The rear end of the “new” Fiat 500 is getting a more modern set of LED taillights, along with the large chrome handle on the tailgate and the different rear bumper with auxiliary lights. The profile of the updated city cruiser seems to be exactly the same as the one of the current version except for the new 15- and 16-inch alloy wheels. A new infotainment system is expected to be added to the cabin, along with the revised air vents. The engine lineup is believed to be slightly updated too, but this hasn’t been confirmed at this time. The 2016 Fiat 500 will be officially unveiled on the 4th of July, as the company has announced recently. More details on it are limited for the moment.
