The Italian based automaker Fiat has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the facelifted version of the Idea.
The 2014 Fiat Idea facelift is a modestly revised model which is adding a new front grille for the Attractive and the Essence versions, along with revised fog light surrounds, honeycomb insert and new alloy wheels, amongst others. Changes in the cabin are more significant and they include a new dashboard, a revised center stack with new air vents, updated audio system, improved controls and an improved off-road instrumentation and multifunction steering wheel for the Adventure version, amongst others.
As for the engine lineup, the 2014 Fiat Idea facelift will most likely carryover the same units so don’t act too surprised if you will see the 1.4 liter four-cylinder with its 80 HP (58 kW) and 119 Nm of torque (87 lb-ft), the 1.6 liter four-cylinder with 115 HP (84 kW) and 159 Nm of torque (117 lb-ft) or the larger 1.8 liter four-cylinder generating 130 HP (95 kW) and 180 Nm of torque (132 lb-ft). No pricing details on the model have been released yet.
