The European version of the Hyundai i40 facelift has been officially unveiled in its two body styles, sedan and wagon.
The 2015 Hyundai i40 has been introduced recently as the model is coming with an updated exterior design, highlighted by the hexagonal grille, new front bumper with integrated LED fog lights, different taillights and a new set of 16- and 18-inch alloy wheels. Some of the technologies found on the car include the ATCC (Advanced Traction Cornering Control), SHB (Smart High Beam) or the Speed Limit Identification Function.
As far as the engine lineup goes, the 2015 Hyundai i40 aimed towards the Old Continent will be offered with a range of two Euro 6 compliant diesel burners. Both units will get the same 1.7 liter displacement and they will be producing 115 HP (85 kW) and 280 Nm (206 lb-ft) of torque and 141 HP (104 kW) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft) of torque, respectively. The more powerful variant is said to be offered with the new 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. Hyundai hasn’t announced any official pricing for the updated version of the i40 and we expect this to go official over the next few weeks.
