The facelifted version of the Lancia Ypsilon will be officially presented to the public at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, next week.
Lancia has officially announced its plans to pull the wraps off the facelifted Ypsilon in just a few days, at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, in a premiere. The updated variant of the car is bringing the new front bumper, the larger fog lights, the revised grille, the new Blu di Blu and Ivory Chic exterior colors and several other goodies which will be placing some distance between this and its current model.
Images with the interior design of the car haven’t been released so far but that didn’t stop Lancia into announcing that the vehicle is going to get an updated upholstery, a revised dashboard with new textures, an updated instrument cluster, a new gear knob, a new standard Uconnect infotainment system with the 5-inch display on Gold versions, a roomier cabin and so on.
The 2016 Lancia Ypsilon will become available with a choice of five engines which will include the entry-level 1.2 liter with its 69 HP (50 kW). This will be followed by the 0.9 liter TwinAir Turbo, producing 85 HP (62 kW), along with the 1.3 liter MultiJet with its 95 HP (69 kW) and the 1.2 liter LPG / petrol, with 69 HP (50 kW). Last but not least Lancia is offering the 0.9 liter TwinAir Turbo methane / petrol, with 80 HP (58 kW). More details on the updated Lancia Ypsilon will be announced at the German automotive event.
