Our spy photographers have managed to catch the facelifted version of the Mercedes-Benz ML on camera, while it was being tested in cold weather.
The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is currently working on an early facelift for the outgoing ML as the SUV has been recently spotted testing near the Arctic Circle, in cold weather conditions. The model in question is believed to get the same treatment as the E-Class did approximately one year ago and the SUV will receive a new front fascia, a modified rear end and some other tweaks applied to its exterior design, which should make it look similar to other new models in the company’s lineup.
The facelifted version of the Mercedes-Benz ML is also expected to get some significant updates in the cabin, along with new technologies, which should make the model more popular with its future customers. As far as the engine lineup goes, the ML 400 is believed to get a 3-liter V6 bi-turbo unit under its hood and we’re also going to see a hybrid model, along with updated versions of the current powertrains. The Mercedes-Benz ML facelift is expected to arrive in the U.S. as a 2016 model year but in Europe the model will become available earlier.
