The first images with the 2014 Nissan Sunny / Versa have recently made their way onto the web, revealing the model’s look ahead of its public debut, scheduled for later on this year.
Trying to keep a new model secret can sometimes be tricky in the automotive industry, as the Japanese based automaker, Nissan, has recently learned the hard way. The company’s 2014 Sunny, or 2014 Versa, as it will also be known in several markets, has leaked in what seem to be two official images, revealing its front fascia and rear end. The facelift of the model will focus on minor adjustments to the front and rear end of the car.
Changes applied onto the model will include the revised headlights, the new front bumper, the more prominent grille, which reminds us of the Altima, new chrome trim on the trunk and some other tweaks, which should help it stand out from a crowd. as for the engine lineup, this is said to be carried over, so expect the 1.5 liter four-cylinder unit, which is good for 108 HP (81 kW) and 148 Nm of torque (109 lb-ft). Additional details on the 2014 Nissan Sunny / Versa will probably be announced later on this year.
