Skoda has recently announced the production start of the facelifted Superb at the company’s factory in Kvasiny.
After it was officially unveiled just a few weeks ago, the 2014 Skoda Superb facelift is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker announcing its production start, at the Kvasiny facility. The model is now available at Czech dealerships and it will soon be launched in most markets across the Old Continent.
“We have once again achieved a success in production engineering. The whole team from production, planning, tool construction and logistics have done a fantastic job coming together to work on the fourth start of production this year alone”, said Michael Oeljeklaus, the Skoda board member for production and logistics.
The 2014 Skoda Superb facelift has a new front bumper, a different hood, redesigned headlights, new rear end, new taillights and some other tweaks. The model is also getting new color shades, new materials and new combinations between these, offering multiple choices of personalization. All versions of the facelift Superb get the stop/start system and braking energy recovery as standard. cThe GreenLine version is the most economic, burning only 4.2 liters / 100 km and emitting 109 g/km of CO2.
