Toyota has released new details on the facelifted version of the Yaris, which has been recently unveiled by the Japanese based automaker.
Aimed towards the Old Continent, the 2015 Toyota Yaris is adopting some interesting changes which have been clearly inspired by the new generation of the Aygo. We can mention the front fascia with the smaller grille or the larger trapezoidal intake. The vehicle has been also fitted with a new rear bumper or with LED infused headlights and it’s also getting new 15- and 16-inch alloy wheels. The cabin of the updated Yaris has soft touch plastics, updated upholstery, satin chrome trim, a larger 7-inch display for the Toyota Touch 2 infotainment system and more.
As far as the engine lineup goes, the 2015 Toyota Yaris is available with a 1.0 liter three-cylinder petrol burner, with 69 HP (51 kW) and 95 Nm (70 lb-ft) of torque. This is followed by the 99 HP (73 kW) and 125 Nm (92 lb-ft) of torque and by the 1.4 liter four-cylinder diesel, with 90 HP (66 kW) and 205 Nm (151 lb-ft) of torque. There is also a hybridized version, which is bringing 100 HP (74 kW). No pricing details on the facelifted version of the small hatchback have been announced yet.
