The facelifted version of the Volkswagen Scirocco has been recently spied while it was being tested in Arizona.
The German based automaker Volkswagen is currently working on the facelifted version of the Scirocco, which should be enough to satisfy the needs of its customers until the future generation of the car will make its way onto the market. The VW Scirocco facelift will receive an updated front fascia, similar to the one used on the Golf 7, along with some modifications in the rear and some tweaks in its cabin, amongst others.
The 2014 Volkswagen Scirocco will hit the market probably early next year and this will be just a minor facelift applied to the model. Mechanics will be left untouched in order to keep the production costs low, while the lighting units and cabin will be slightly redesigned. The most important change will be at its front fascia, which is believed to get a completely new look. The future generation of the Volkswagen Scirocco, which will ride on the MQB modular platform, is believed to make its way onto the market in a few years. More details on the facelifted model remain unknown for the moment and will be announced close to its launch.
