Facelifted VW Sharan gets detailed in new images image

Fresh photos with the facelifted version of the Volkswagen Sharan have been released by Volkswagen.

After introducing it a few months back, at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the 2016 Volkswagen Sharan is being highlighted once again, this time with the help of a new photo gallery. The model is coming with new LED headlights, with new metallic body paints, the Jakarta alloy wheels and several other tweaks. The interior design of the MPV has the 6.5-inch Discovery Media infotainment systems, the MirrorLink, 6.5-inch Composition Media, updated 5-inch Composition color, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Safety features include the Park Assist, Blind Spot Monitor, Automatic Post Collision Braking System, Lane Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control. At the time of its launch, VW will be offering two exclusive models, the Sharan Ocean and the Sharan Beach, getting two new colors, the Hudson Bay Blue Metallic, on the Ocean, and the Crimson Red, on the Beach. Added equipment also includes the silver roof rails, the contrast stitching inside it, multi function steering wheel, electric sliding doors, automatic air conditioning and more. The engine lineup is made out of the 1.4 liter TSI petrol burner, with its 150 HP, and the 2.0 TSI producing 220 HP. Diesel engines offered across the range are the 1.6 liter TDI producing 115 HP and the 2.0 TDI in two outputs, with 150 HP and 184 HP. Gearbox choices include the 6-speed manual and the 6-speed DSG.
