Although the ‘Fast And Furious 6’ will hit movie theaters in more than two months, we though it would be a good idea to offer you a presentation of the cars used in the movie.
Until now, all that we could see in the Fast And Furious movies were modified American powerful vehicles or Japanese tuner cars. The Fast And Furious 6 offers a change: besides the American muscle, we will also see several old-school European powerful vehicles.
Wondering what Dominic Toretto (played by Vin Diesel) will drive? It will be a 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona replica, with a few changes among which slightly shorter rear wing and nose and LS3 small-block V8 from GM under the hood. In the beginning of the movie he will also drive a 2011 Dodge Challenger, then in the end of the movie a 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda.
Brian O’Connor (played by Paul Walker) will be seen in a 2012 Nissan GT-R and a highly modified version of the Nissan GT-R, the R35, with more than 1,000hp. Other cars to be seen in the movie are a 1970 Ford Escort RS2000, a 1971 Jensen Interceptor driven by Letty (played by Michelle Rodriguez), powered by a LS3 V8s from GM, and nine 1969 and 1970s Ford Mustangs.
The bad guys will have a 2010 BMW M5 (14 of them used for the movie), dressed up as 540i or 535i models and a 2006 Aston Martin. To get a closer look at these beauties make sure you’ll be in the theaters on May 24th.
