FAW-Volkswagen held a ceremony for producing its new car CC in Changchun, capital of northeastern Jilin Province, on April 20, which marks FAW’s flagship product Volkswagen CC has been officially put into mass production.

As for the appearance, the CC car’s waistline has been lifted up a lot. Specially designed, the CC car is largely formed with high-temp and intense-heat shaped steel plates and welded with the laser welding technology.

The CC car is also the first B-class vehicle, which is equipped with panoramic sunroof, frameless doors, adaptive cruise control system and lane keeping system, bringing the driver a more humane operating experience and better security.

Moreover, the car uses a power portfolio of the TSI engine (Turbocharged Stratified Injection) and the DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox), and reduces the fuel consumption of at least 15% and carbon emissions of at least 20% compared with the conventional powertrain system.
