A classic Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa has been recently sold for a whopping 39,55 million USD, proving once again that investing in classic cars is the way to be.
In uncertain times, classic and very rare cars seem to be the proper investment tools, but spotting a future classic isn’t that easy. One of the most expensive rides ever sold is a Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, which has found a new owner, who had to pay 39,55 million USD. The seller of the classic Italian race car is Dutch collector Eric Heerema, who has also sold a 250 GTO for 35 million USD.
The 39,55 million USD paid for this Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa makes it seem like a bargain compared to the most expensive car ever sold, a Ferrari 250 GTO, which has found a new owner last year for a whopping 52 million USD. The Ferrari 250 has been produced between 1953 and 1964 and it was eventually replaced by the 275 and by the 300. The Testa Rossa was one of the most successful Ferrari racing cars in history, winning four times at Sebring, three times at the Le Mans and two times a Buenos Aires.
